Zacaria comes to the aid of local authorities and non-governmental organizations, involved in managing the state of emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, ofering free industrial spaces. Also, the company offers, for the first time, the possibility to opt for a short term contract to the businesses affected by the crisis and which need to expand or temporarily move their activity.

The industrial spaces that can be used by local authorities and NGOs for the storage of food, raw materials and medical materials or even for the production of protective equipment, are located in the parks owned by Zacaria in Sibiu and Alba Iulia. These are available immediately, and the company has already launched the invitation to its traditional non-governmental partners.

At the same time, in order to help the companies facing difficulties during this period, the Sibiu based company offers flexible and fast solutions: industrial spaces available immediately in five of its parks located in Sibiu, Craiova and Alba Iulia. For the first time, Zacaria offers the possibility to rent on a short-term basis, mainly to help companies affected by the disruption of global supply chains and under demand pressure.

“The way we act now will be defining for the way Romania will recover once things return to normal. It is time to make difficult financial decisions, that in return will bring long-term benefits to the communities in which we operate. We need to show that those internal values are more than just written words and each of us must act according to the resources we have available,” said Jonathan S. Diamantino, CEO Zacaria.

Zacaria was among the first companies in Sibiu to join the campaign “A hospital, a community”, started by the Sibiu Community Foundation, for the purchase of COVID-19 diagnostic tests and equipment for the intensive care section of the Sibiu County Hospital.
